How this little studio began

Hi, I’m kim. While learning to draw, I fell in love with drawing sculptures. But 3D models were scattered everywhere, and I couldn’t travel the world with my sketchbook to study their values, contours and lighting. So I gathered openly licensed scans of real objects for drawing practice and turned my own observation methods into tools. A little studio, always open.

Why are some tools paid? Bringing models into the studio takes a little housekeeping: preparing the 3D meshes, unwrapping UVs, sorting out textures, and building lighting and observation tools. This work, along with maintaining the website, takes time and resources. All 167 models, basic tools, and standard reference PNG exports with a watermark are free. The three groups of PRO tools, transparent PNG, and watermark-free exports support the everyday running of this little studio.
